Birds of Prey

Matterhorn's annual October Fun Fest always has lots of fun activities, demonstrations and shows for the whole family. They really get into the Halloween spirit of things. It's also very educational. There was Bwanna Jim's Reptile Show and Jonathan Wood's Birds of Prey, which featured 16 different Birds of Prey. It's truly amazing to be able to see these birds up close, with their razor sharp talons and beaks!

Absolutely beautiful birds!!! We have some of these birds out here in Arizona too!! I love to hear the barn owls and see the falcons and hawks and once in a while we'll see an eagle and that's pretty exciting! They are beautiful birds and glad you got to see them so close!!

They are so beautiful up close!
The first two photos were taken while I was sitting down on a bale of hay and he was walking around showing the birds to the audience. I'm so surprised they came out the way they did.
